Castle Crashers: Stolen Sun
A kingdom has lost its daylight, and an elemental knight must push through its troubled lands in Castle Crashers: Stolen Sun. This colourful 2D fantasy brawler follows 36 story stages, with optional routes and boss encounters along the way. Striking enemies is central to the journey, but progression also asks you to pay attention to guards, red levers and the exits that lead onward.
Follow the route, not just the next opponent
Choose an elemental knight and get familiar with the difference between a regular strike and the skill action. Both belong in your fighting toolkit, alongside movement and jumping. In a new area, identify the immediate enemies and the route out before committing to a string of attacks. Clearing the guards, activating a red lever and finding the exit are useful things to check when you are unsure how to advance.
The campaign includes salvage to collect and opportunities to improve tools and armour. Explore the available paths rather than assuming every scene is only a straight fight to the right. Optional routes give you a reason to look beyond the most obvious passage, while checkpoint retries make it possible to return to an encounter with a revised approach. Persistent progress supports playing the quest across more than one sitting.
Strike, jump and use your knight's skill
- Use WASD or the arrow keys to move.
- Press J or left-click for strikes and combos.
- Press K or right-click to use a skill.
- Jump with Space.
- Open options with Esc or P; press M to mute.
On a touch device, use the movement controls and the separate Jump, Skill and Strike buttons. Learn where those actions sit before a busy battle so that you can move without losing track of the attack you want to use.
Approach a difficult stage as a combination of combat and navigation. If you keep failing in the same place, reconsider when you engage the guards and whether you have overlooked a lever or a route. Reaching the next exit matters more than repeating an attack sequence that leaves your knight in trouble.
